(05 Oct 2021) Centara will this month expand its portfolio of hotels to the UAE, with the opening of a 607-room resort in Dubai.
Scheduled to open on 14 October, the Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai is a joint venture with Nakheel and the new Deira Islands waterfront city.
Overlooking the Persian Gulf, just 30 minutes from Dubai International Airport, the themed resort features a water park with lagoon pools, a lazy river, kids’ splash play area, waterslides, cliff jumping platforms, a rope climbing course, all surrounded by palm trees and sun decks.
Other facilities at the resort include a spa, fitness centre, three age-specific kids’ clubs, a variety of F&B outlets as well as meeting and event spaces.
“It gives me great pleasure to introduce Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai, our inaugural resort in the UAE, as we continue to bring our timeless values of Thai hospitality to travellers around the world,” said Thirayuth Chirathivat, Chief Executive Officer, Centara Hotels & Resorts. “The Centara Mirage concept immerses visitors in a world of wonders, creating unparalleled guest experiences. This marks another major milestone for Centara in 2021, following the opening of Centara Mirage Resort Mui Ne in Vietnam and Centara Reserve Samui, the world’s first Centara Reserve resort in Thailand.”
The hotel’s General Manager is Sebastien Scheeg.
