Auguste Rodin’s marble bust of Napoleon had been donated to the Hartley Dodge Foundation in Madison, New Jersey in the 1930s. It remained in the same spot, overlooked and forgotten until 2015 when Le Blay confirmed that it was not, in fact, a copy or a forgery.
