These easy chicken burgers are topped with the works: lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard and crispy barbecue-flavored potato chips.

1 lb.

ground dark-meat chicken

3 tbsp.

Italian-style bread crumbs

1/4 c.

grated Parmesan

1

large egg

Kosher salt and pepper

2 tsp.

vegetable oil

Toasted buns, lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mustard, for serving

2 c.

barbecue flavored potato chips, for serving

  1. In a large bowl, combine chicken, bread crumbs, Parmesan, egg, ¼ teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Gently combine into 4 (4-in.-wide) patties. 
  2. In a 12-in. nonstick skillet, heat oil on medium. Add patties; cook 8 to 10 minutes or until cooked through (165°F), turning once.
  3. Serve on buns topped with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, mustard and chips.
